Every other day, before heading to marching band rehearsal, I’ll look outside to check the weather. If it’s cloudy, it must be cold, so I wear layers. If it’s sunny, it must be hot, so I wear shorts and a t-shirt. Pretty normal, right?
So why is it that when I look outside, it’s cloudy, but as soon as I walk out, it feels like it’s 100 degrees? Somehow, there isn’t a single ray of sun in the sky, and I’m still sweating within 10 minutes of the rehearsal.
Weather, why do you have to be so weird? Why can’t you just stick to a simple formula — cloudy equals cold, not cloudy equals hot? Is that so hard to do?
Maybe the easy solution to all this is to actually use the weather app, but I’m too lazy to do all that — and I shouldn’t have to.
