Every day without fail after I wake up, I wash my face and squeeze out two fingers worth of sunscreen which I then rub into my face. I get to walk around under the sun the rest of the day knowing that I have less of a risk of getting skin cancer and wrinkles when I am 40 years old.
It’s simple, easy and effective. Why wouldn’t you wear it? Not only does it provide protection, but also gives my skin a sun-kissed glow and hydrated look.
I’ve heard all the excuses for not wearing it, the most common being “it feels so greasy” or “it leaves a white cast.” There are over 2,000 sunscreens on the market; it’s not that hard to find a good one — my personal favorite is the Japanese brand Biore. Trust me, it’s worth it.
