Let’s face it: Streaming services are now a bottomless hole sucking on your wallet. While it looks like a good deal at the beginning, the endless list of subscriptions you buy will slowly eat away at your money before you even realize how much money is going down the drain.
Companies like Netflix, Prime and Hulu increase their prices and offer less and less each year. The supposedly “new and exclusive content” always comes with a catch, like added fees or limited times. It feels like you’re getting your money robbed at every corner. Want to download a show? Pay up. Want to watch something in 4K? It costs extra.
Keeping track of what platforms have your favorite shows is also a chore. It’s easy to forget which ones you’re paying for and only realize the spiraling costs months later. Let’s be honest, barely anyone has time to watch enough shows to make the cost worth it.
The list of downsides for TV subscriptions just doesn’t end, and the idea of cheap and affordable TV is fading fast.

Nicely written and very true.
