Twenty-five yearbook students from Redwood Middle School and adviser James Conn got a taste of high school journalism when they visited on Friday, Nov. 7. Trekking from their school to Saratoga High for fifth period, they had the chance to see the Talisman staff in action.

The middle school students were broken up into groups and rotated to different stations (editors, photographers and reporters) led by Talisman members. Each station gave a presentation of their role on staff.

“It was nice that we were able to provide an example that they can look up to,” said senior editor-in-chief Stacy Ku. “It seems like the Redwood yearbook program has improved since our day and will continue to get better.”
