New Year’s resolutions: yeah, right

New year, new me right?

Every year, I think that phrase is being worn down more and more. Although it’s a bit of a pet peeve, I find the amount of “one day into the new year R.I.P. my resolution L O L” joke posts on Facebook a little old.

Seriously, since when did New Year’s resolutions stop being a concept for improving oneself and instead become the target of stale online self-deprecation memes? More than anything, no one really cares about other people’s broken resolutions. Fail on your own.
