Time is money. Like money, time must be well spent.
While I appreciate having time to de-stress, I love being busy. Though mainstream media often glorifies Netflix bingeing and naps, nothing can compare to the rush of knocking task after task off a to-do list and the sense of accomplishment that comes with it.
Being busy also means expanding my knowledge and skills through my experiences. Learning two instruments has allowed me to read and compose music; volunteering has taught me how to work with children.
Granted, it’s a lot of work, but my efforts pay off. At the end of the day, I can crash on my bed and rest assured knowing that I made the most out of my day.
