In California, there may not be a symbol more iconic than the red logo of “In-N-Out” overlayed on top of a bright yellow arrow.
However, unlike people from outside of the Golden State, we Californians actually know the quality of the fast food chain. It’s good, but stop treating it like it’s food of the gods.
It has become hard for the restaurant to impress out-of-state visitors due to unreasonably high expectations. For all you tourists eating In-N-Out for the first time, just know this: It’s better than McDonald’s, but don’t expect much more. Seriously.
