Three sport athlete Kyle Dozier decides on baseball at Loyola Marymount University

As a freshman, Kyle Dozier never anticipated the athletic impact he would have at Saratoga. He played three sports: football, basketball and baseball. He was a freshman on varsity for basketball and baseball.
Dozier played all three sports for four years and went on to letter in all. Dozier lettered four times in baseball, four times in basketball, and two times in football.
Even as Dozier dominated on the gridiron and the hardwood, his true passion was on the diamond. As a freshman, Dozier led the Falcons in hitting and continued to do so for the next two years. He has also been a strong presence on the mound for the Falcons.
“Doz has always been a consistent threat in our lineup. He can score runs in so many ways,” junior outfielder Tyler Plesse said.
Dozier, an outfielder and left handed pitcher, was largely unnoticed because he spent the summer, a prime time for recruiting, preparing for football in the fall. But good talent never goes unnoticed and in his senior year, Dozier started talking to Loyola Marymount at the beginning of the 2013 baseball season. He quickly decided that he would attend LMU and play outfield there next season.
“I’m really looking forward to next season. LMU has a great coaching staff and a strong team dynamic,” Dozier said.
