After a successful freshman quad day, it was time for the sophomores to step it up on Oct. 10 and show what the class of 2015 had to offer.

The sophomore class opened with a skit about finding Freddie the Falcon, followed by the theme of Sherlock Holmes. Most people thought they did pretty well, and did better than last year.

“Last year when we were freshmen and didn't really have anything to live up to it was really stress-free and fun, and I think we did a pretty good job,” said sophomore Sydney Torrens. However, Torrens knew her class would have to step it up this year in order to top the freshmen.

Many students felt that the sophomores did significantly better than last year on their quad day dance.

“I saw significant improvement compared to last year's quad day dance,” said junior Vivian Wang. “I appreciated how the class showcased hidden talents. It really entertained the crowd.”

Nevertheless, the class of 2015 has recognized areas to improve for next year.

“We could probably get better at the organization and practices, though, because we were all over the place until Tuesday night,” said sophomore Adrienne Kim.

Although the sophomores struggled to gather supplies for the decorations and organize the dances, they managed to put together a solid quad day by practicing their dances every day and making sure everyone knew their lines for the skit.

“Even though it was a stressful time getting ready, it was fun bringing everyone together and having a good time,” said sophomore class president Alex Kim.
