A mislaid sock here and there isn’t the worst thing.
Stepping into a spotless, perfectly clean room is cool until it hits you that it looks like you’re in an episode of “Severance”. It’s not like I think a room covered from head-to-toe in clothes and clutter is acceptable, but so-called “messy rooms” get too much hate.
A little clutter honestly looks nice and it’s great to be chilling in your room and catch a glimpse of something you haven’t seen in months on a shelf as if you’re finding lost treasure.
As long as your room doesn’t need one of those deep-cleans you see on TikTok, it’s probably fine. Keep your room (a little) messy.
