The Christmas-themed Lip Dub, originally scheduled for Dec. 6, has been pushed back to next semester during April or May because of the rainy weather. In its place, the rally commission is holding a previously unplanned a holiday rally on Dec. 13.
Overseeing the planning of the unexpected senior commissioners Risa Carter and Mihir Bettadapur.
“We planned the surprise rally just like any other rally, but just on a tighter schedule because of last-minute complications,” Bettadapur said.
Unlike past years, the rally will not extend past tutorial because of instructional minutes requirements. The theme is a twist on the movie “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” and include games such as hamster ball, musical chairs, snowball toss and tug of war between teachers and students.
“We were all committed to making this the best rally we’ve ever had,” Bettadapur said.
