It turns out Sean Spicer isn’t a good dancer either

If you turned on ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars” this fall, you might have seen a familiar face, former White House press secretary Sean Spicer.

Spicer was quite a character during his six-month tenure in the White House, which started off poorly when he lied about the size of Trump’s inauguration crowd, claiming it was the largest one for any US president.

But he put that life behind him when he became a contender on Season 28 of one of the greatest shows of all time: “Dancing With the Stars.”

During his time on the show, audiences witnessed some of his appalling dance moves, one of the worst ones being the “Toy Story” dance, where his partner, Lindsay Arnold, was seen doing the majority of the work.

During the dance, their hands were awkwardly spread far apart as they were spinning along the dance floor. Every time they broke apart, faced forward and made a wave motion with their arms, the coordination of their limbs was off.

While Spicer, in his goofy Woody costume, had a big grin on his face the entire time, his partner, dressed as Jessie, had an uncomfortable smile. The 23-year age gap between them made the spectacle even creepier.

His poorly executed dances can be reflected in his abysmal average score of 17.8 out of 30, according to Esquire. That average typically leads to a contestant lasting only a week or two.

However, Spicer managed to make it to the quarterfinals of the competition because of a large number of viewer votes from his political friends, who started a social media campaign to help him win the competition. Because Spicer managed to garner enough votes from a conservative base trying to make a political statement, he overpowered the judge’s scores.

In the quarterfinals, the votes were finally not enough to save him. Perhaps Red-State America will miss Spicer’s awkwardly choreographed dances, goofy shiny outfits and giant grin. As for me, Sean Spicer was the only person worth watching “Dancing With the Stars” for.
