The school’s third annual Lip Dub, where participating students will be filmed following a route around the school campus while lip syncing to a mix of songs, is set to take place on March 27 during tutorial.
This year, the rally commission decided on a new system in which students signed up in pairs or groups of three to participate and listed their song of preference from a list. Thirty-eight students, mostly seniors and a few juniors, have signed up to lip sing. All students are welcome to participate and fill the filming route.
Similar to previous years, the commission has chosen new songs and a new route, which consists of seven sections of the campus such as the media building, the gym and the library.
Rally commissioner junior Risa Carter is optimistic that the final video will turn out better than previous years.
“We expect to see even more spirit, because we are practicing ahead of time with the lip syncers to make sure everything runs smoothly,” Carter said.
