Rally commissioners are looking to include more games in a holiday-themed rally scheduled for Dec. 6.

Rally commissioners are looking to include more games in a holiday-themed rally scheduled for Dec. 6.
The school hasn't had a rally since late August and didn't have the traditional one during Homecoming week, and many students are wondering why.
The answer, head rally commission Bronwen Bowen said, is that the group is trying to focus on quality over quantity, cutting the number of rallies in a school year from eight to four.
“Fewer rallies means better quality,” Bowen said.
The commission is also looking to increase participation at rallies by asking teachers to close down their classrooms during tutorial on rally days.
“[Rallies have] always been during tutorials but I think as the years have gone by, more people have chosen to go to tutorials instead of going to the rallies,” rally commissioner and junior Natalie Miller said.
The other planned rallies for this school year are the spring fling rally and the end of the year rally.
