ASB student store revamped

School-themed T-shirts, sweatshirts and lanyards will be among the items soon to be available on the school’s online ASB student store.

The idea was implemented and organized by senior Robert Eng, the ASB treasurer, and Anna Ybarra, the school’s activities secretary. 

“There were a bunch of alumni and current students coming into the office and asking Mrs. Ybarra if they sold any school-themed items and she always had to say no,” Eng said. “Following this, she had this idea to start selling these items, so that spawned the idea of a student store.”

The online store currently sells parking permits, combination locks, P.E clothing, and various school apparel. The administration plans to add pens, mechanical pencils, lanyards, scarves, fleece blankets, water bottles, and hats to its inventory. However, items that have been sold at football games and school sporting events will not be available for purchase on the ASB online store, according to Ybarra.
