Top 10 ways to get your teacher to love you

September 27, 2018 — by Rohan Kumar and Oliver Ye

10. Write a lot of emails to your teacher. Be sure to include a hook, a thesis, body paragraphs and a conclusion.

9. Bring your teachers coffee. They’ve probably already had five cups by tutorial, but one more shouldn’t hurt ...

8. Spend the tutorial before (and perhaps on) the day of the test in your teacher’s room. When you inevitably fail, your teacher will at least know you tried.

7. Don’t have your phone out in class. And yes, that includes sneakily sending snaps of the gum on the underside of your desk.

6. Remember to bring your homework (which you probably didn’t finish) to school. That way, you can finesse it during tutorial.

5. Think outside of the box. If your teacher asks you to rate how well he/she is doing on a scale of 1 to 10, you should probably say 11.

4. Always help out your classmates, making it especially noticeable when the teacher is watching.

3. Raise your hand as much as possible. Even if your teacher doesn’t call on you, your arms will get stronger.

2. Stare unblinkingly into your teacher’s eyes. At least then she will know you’re paying attention.

1. Go to the bathroom a lot. Your teacher would appreciate your taking those nasty flip flops out of their classroom.
