Saratoga High National School Walkout

March 15, 2018 — by Frederick Kim

Saratoga High held a walkout as a protest to gun violence and in memory of the Parkland school shooting victims on March 14 during tutorial, joining schools across the nation that also held 10 a.m. walkouts. ASB organized the walkout while keeping the administration informed. A memorial service in the large gym was held before the walkout with speeches given by senior Kyle Wang and junior Roshan Verma. Students walked around the school via Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road and ended on the Upper Field.
