Childfund Alliance improves lives

Recently, the Small Voices, Big Dreams survey polled almost 3,000 children ages 10 to 12 from developing countries around the world. One of the questions asked what the child would do if he or she were president of his or her country. Most of these children answered that the first thing they would do would be to provide education for all children by either improving or building more schools.

Childfund Alliance is a worldwide organization dedicated to improving the lives of impoverished children and families. To do so, members work to develop education, community, emergency aid and child sponsorship, currently sheltering children and families in 55 of the poorest countries around the world. They strive to create opportunities for children by eradicating the root causes of poverty.

Every high school student can easily understand the importance of receiving an education. We have the opportunity to drastically improve the lives of these children and need to take advantage of our situation to help those who are not as fortunate.
