Hundreds of students filled the quad during lunch on Sept. 5 and 6 as they received pitches — and candy — as they were asked to join one of at least 60 ASB-sponsored clubs on campus this year.
Academic clubs like Math Club and Writing Club had their day on Sept. 5 while cultural and service clubs like Spanish Club and Red Cross Club went on Sept. 6.
Deviating from typical Club Rush offerings, the newly created Slime Club brought slime samples for the first 24 students who showed up to their table, collecting over 100 sign-ups at the event and showcasing a successful presentation about slime to the students.

The VEX Robotics Club also brought two robots, one from this season and the other from last season and drove the robots around the booth for students to see.

Looking back, junior ASB Clubs commissioner Nirvan Shah said the event ran smoothly.
“We had a lot more clubs join this year and also had a lot of diverse clubs this year,” Shah said.
